Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has ditched Twitch to stream exclusively on Mixer, and his first stream on Microsoft’s platform kicked off today. While Mixer’s market share is astronomically lower than Twitch’s, it looks like Ninja’s fans are coming with him on the move. The Mixer numbers aren’t beating Ninja’s best days on Twitch, but they are just as good as his recent weekday viewers.

Ninja’s first Mixer stream had roughly equivalent peak viewers, and significantly better average viewers compared with his recent Twitch efforts, as a breakdown from Lightstream shows. Discounting the World Cup days, Ninja’s recent Twitch streams showed a peak of 72,169 viewers and an average of 40,209.

Mixer, however, has had a peak of 73,109 and an average of 57,290. Not bad for a sudden switch to a new platform, though you might wonder whether all the publicity around the announcement should’ve resulted in even bigger numbers.
