The latest Tom Clancy title is on the way, and Ubisoft’s modern focus on PC gaming looks to pay dividends when Ghost Recon Breakpoint launches in a few months. Today, the developers have revealed the full system requirements for the game – just in time for the beta, which launches next week.

You’re going to need a pretty stout machine to run the game even at the lowest settings, as the low spec 1080p recommendations include nothing less than a Radeon R9 280X or Geforce GTX 960 – so if you’ve been looking for an excuse to upgrade an aging build, you’ve got it. Other specs fit in nicely with the current crop of midrange and high-end GPUs out there, but you will need a meaty processor like a Ryzen 7 or a Core i7 to keep up.

Ubisoft has already promised “full PC optimisation” for Ghost Recon Breakpoint, including uncapped framerates, resolution support up through 4K and ultrawide settings, and graphics settings well beyond what’s available on console.
